HIV - Related Adipose Redistribution Syndrome (HARS)
Lipodystrophy causes many different manifestations which include:

Redistribution of fat (central adiposity)

Decrease in thin layer of fat directly beneath the skin

Increase in triglycerides, cholesterol and insulin levels

Glucose metabolism abnormalities

Cardiovascular disease
·
Buffalo hump
