Studies


Therafirst Medical Center is currently enrolling HIV-1+ infected treatment-experienced adults who are 18 years of age or older to take part in a clinical research trial investigating the safety and efficacy of ritonavir-boosted elvitegravir versus raltegravir.

Subjects may be:

  • Treatment experienced with at least 2-classes of HIV medications.
  • Naive to integrase inhibitors.
  • Have a viral load > 1,000 copies/mL.
Study medications, physical examinations, and laboratory testing will be provided at no cost to the subject.

All subjects will receive either elivitegravir/ritonavir or raltegravir in combination with at least two other antiretrovirals (ARVs) (to be determined by genotype/phenotype testing).

Each volunteer will receive $50.00 per completed regular visit.
